So, how long can white duck meat be stored in these cold storage facilities?
White duck meat can generally be stored for six months or even longer in a freezer, with temperatures ranging from -18 ℃ to -23 ℃. The lower the temperature, the longer the storage time. Typically, it can be stored for about six months at -18 ℃. If you want to preserve it for a longer time, the temperature should be lower. Of course, the lower the temperature, the higher the cost of the cold storage. Not only does the cost of building the cold storage increase, but the cost of operating and maintaining the cold storage also increases accordingly. But generally speaking, more white ducks are consumed within half a month. Compared to pork, which is a type of livestock meat, poultry meat is more suitable for fresh consumption.
